Obesity, ageing problems, lack of energy, drowsiness, cancer, liver problems, diabetes.
• In case of high blood sugar, and insulin intolerance.
• Other metabolic diseases, liver, pancreas, kidney problems, poor parameters.
• Excellent in cases of illness, and post-operative debility (recommended in gradually increasing doses)

A short description:
The diets, stress levels and sedentary lifestyles of urban dogs can lead to the same diseases we are increasingly hearing about in humans. These are the so-called urbanisation diseases.
Physical inactivity in itself can lead to low energy, lethargy, obesity, and in combination with a poor diet can easily lead to diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, insulin intolerance, etc.

Obesity in dogs is a typical urban disease. It develops as a result of lack of exercise and poor nutrition and is often accompanied by insulin resistance and diabetes. The excessive amount of visceral fat secretes hormones that act against the body, like an endocrine gland. The hormone balance is also disrupted. There is more to it than can be easily solved by diet and exercise, and there are dangers in both (coma can develop from both hypo and hyperglycaemic (extremely low or high blood sugar) causes).

The immunomodulatory action of Maitake mushroom is exerted by the polysaccharide’s alpha, and beta glucan contained in it. Its active ingredients are the glucoproteins of which grifolan is the most potent and best known. They activate the white blood cells, improve the body's resistance to infections and improve the blood count.

They act specifically on insulin receptors, supporting liver and pancreas function.

Dogs are inherently more vulnerable to anomalies in carbohydrate metabolism than humans, as their bodies are primarily designed to break down fat and protein. This is why diabetes in dogs is mainly caused by a poor diet, and proper nutrition is an important cornerstone of recovery, but the disturbed metabolism must be effectively supported in order to heal. Maitake reduces insulin resistance.

The main functions of Maitake according to literature:

• A blood sugar stabilizer
• Immunomodulatory effects (more resistant to infections)
• Anti-tumour and reduces chemo side effects
• Bone health: balances vitamin D and activates mineralization.
• Liver function support

No side effects, no chance to overdose. Almond and Maitake are a good choice in combination with it because it is:

Allergenic, anti-tumour and, anti-inflammatory.
It promotes detoxification (liver function) and is beneficial for carbohydrate metabolism in diabetes

Improves the effectiveness of vaccinations in dogs!

Blood sugar, blood fats, and even blood pressure are enhanced. It improves all of the blood parameters.
The results in blood tests show a positive shift in the diabetic condition quite soon (about 6 weeks), the two mushrooms complement each other and multiply the effect when given together.
It could be calculated that it takes about as many months to recover as the number of years it took to get to the severe condition, but unlike most vets, I do not consider it an inherently acceptable solution to administer insulin, even in life-long incremental doses. You should try to get rid of it even if you have to start.

Cordyceps seems to be a good choice to complement the above two because:
• It rejuvenates and gives you lots of energy.
• It helps to keep a tired body moving, improves the quality of life and gives the dog a mental boost. Increases oxygenation of the brain and heart
• Regular exercise and a diet recommended by your vet are also important and should be adhered to.

In addition to shorter doses of vitamins and other necessary medications, the medicinal mushroom cure should be continued for 1-2 years as indicated and can be continued for the rest of your life if you wish.

It is an organic preparation containing only natural substances and has no known adverse side effects.
The Medicinal Mushroom Research Lab's home-grown human formulation of Maitake and Almond liquid mushroom extract is 100% organic and effective in helping insulin resistance, high blood sugar, without drugs, a natural solution.

The same organic mushroom blends, made to the same strict standards, are used effectively to protect, and restore the health of dogs.
The dog has predatory ancestry. In nature, carbohydrate, especially its easily fermentable short-chain form, is present in its diet in decreasing amounts.

The dog, domesticated for thousands of years, has undergone and continues to undergo enormous changes, but the digestion and absorption metabolism of the nutrient channel, which has evolved over millions of years, is not able to keep up with these changes.

Due to our big and small cities, and in public areas, dogs can only be let loose in exceptional places, so they are almost always walked on a leash, or better in a small coat, as the exercise needs of dogs kept indoors all the time are - as you can easily see - not met. Let me remind you that, in nature, the feeding of predators is always preceded by a very effective cardio-fitness, namely the chase and capture of prey, which is not always successful.
Even with an ideal diet, you can still expect your dog to bloat. Excessive reward snacks, an inadequately thought-out diet and even the higher carbohydrate content of some dog foods leads to high blood sugar levels, insulin intolerance and diabetes in our pets more and more frequently.

To get rid of the excessive amount of visceral fat that has been deposited and to re-energise our dog from a sedative lifestyle, it is no longer enough to change his diet, which is a necessary but not sufficient condition, but we need to support his metabolism effectively. Maitake and almond mushroom extracts have been shown to support liver function by helping to overcome the harmful effects of excessive carbohydrate consumption, while Cordyceps is primarily used to help re-establish a more active, sporty lifestyle.

Cordyceps is part of the diet of elite athletes, and it is no coincidence that it is known as a legal doping agent. Not least, all three mushrooms are powerful supporters of the immune system. Sometimes we start giving our dog a medicinal mushroom preparation containing cordyceps and the opposite of what we expect happens. Not only has he not become more energetic, but he has become downright sleepy since he started eating Cordyceps. In this case, the mushrooms are having a positive effect on health, but the problem is much bigger than we thought. There is a serious inflammatory process going on and the mushroom is helping to heal it.
After major operations, we also use Cordyceps mushrooms during the recovery period, it speeds up the recovery, but in the first weeks dogs are almost half asleep, all energy taken up for the recovery.
