This blend contains all 5 mushroom species in extract form. Our Tumor preparation is recommended for tumours in general, which means any type of tumour, but in case of severe disease other preparations or even other medicinal mushroom extracts may be necessary, as relatively small amounts of some medicinal mushrooms enter the body in this form. What does justify the use of the mixture is the well-known synergistic effect of the fungi. Each one supports and strengthens the immune system at a slightly different point in its extremely complex function, so overall it is more successful. It can also be given alongside chemotherapy to help with its side effects.

It is an excellent way to boost the metabolism of a weakened elderly body in combination with a well-adjusted diet. Recommended a minimum of 6 months continuous dosing. Why is the liquid mushroom extract better than powder capsules?
These mushroom extracts are products with a concentrated active ingredient content, produced from BIO raw materials. 5 ml of liquid medicinal mushroom extract contains 28-33 mushroom powder capsules. In the powder form, absorption may also be less efficient because the powder is produced by grinding the dried mushrooms and filling them into the packaging or capsule. What you need to know about fungi is that a significant proportion of the active substances are found within the chitin skeleton of the fungus. However, the absorption of the active substances is also hindered by the chitinase of the fungus, because the digestive system of dogs cannot break down chitin, they do not have a chitinase enzyme. The active ingredients in the mushrooms are extracted by two different extraction processes: alcoholic and warm water. The two extraction processes extract almost 100% of the active ingredients from the chitinase of the mushroom, so that the beneficial substances are delivered to the dog's digestive system in a ready-to-process form. The product is sugar and alcohol free! In the case of mushrooms, it is very important to have a certified organic certification. The mushrooms absorb EVERYTHING from the soil and water where they grow, sponge-like, through their extensive mycelial network. Toxic compounds and heavy metals can enter the mycelium of the fungus unhindered. About dosage for dogs with cancer
The recommended "normal dose" of the product is 1ml plus 1ml for every 10kg of body weight, which is 3ml/day for a 20kg dog and 4.5ml/day for a 35kg dog.

For animals with tumours, undergoing chemotherapy or other treatment, we recommend twice the 'normal dose', with the above dose of Tumor in the morning and usually a different formulation of HerbalVet Medicinal Mushrooms in the afternoon and evening, depending on the type of tumour. E.g. for a 35kg dog, this is 2x 4.5ml or 9ml/day!

Can it be taken with other medicines?
Yes. It is a common question whether medicinal mushrooms can be taken with other medicines, formulas, and treatments. It is directly recommended alongside chemotherapy treatment, as much better results can be achieved by using the two therapies together than with separately. It can be given with everything, and there are two exceptions. Blood thinners and insulin therapy. It can be given in these cases, but it requires caution and care. In these cases, consult your veterinarian or HerbalVet for advice.
